Vertical Life

When I'm not designing or consulting, I find my inspiration in the heights. Vertical Life is my personal journey of exploring limits, nature, and perspective.

Vertical Life: Architecture Rooted in Nature

"Climbing mountains to understand the earth; designing spaces to respect it."

For me, hiking and mountaineering are more than just hobbies—they are an essential part of my architectural research. By exploring the rugged landscapes and local vernacular architecture of Azerbaijan’s high-altitude regions, I gain a profound understanding of how nature and structure coexist.

Why This Matters for Your Project

When I take on a project in these unique environments, I bring first-hand knowledge of the terrain, climate, and local soul:

  • Observing Local Wisdom: My journeys allow me to study traditional local architecture in remote zones, understanding how ancient techniques can inspire modern, sustainable designs.

  • Environmental Empathy: Spending time in the wild helps me predict how a building will respond to the elements—ensuring that every design is not just beautiful, but resilient and functional.

  • Informed Design for the Future: This intimate connection with nature ensures that when a client commissions a project in these regions, I understand the practical challenges and the aesthetic potential better than anyone.

"I don't just design for a landscape; I design from within it."
